I never thought of myself as a writer, at least not of
non-medical papers and textbooks. But that changed
several years back. Following the death of my wife in
1999, I used my journaling as the basis for a
non-fiction book, The Tender Scar: Life After The
Death Of A Spouse, (Kregel, 2006). At about that
time, I began writing short pieces that ended up in
publications like The Upper room and In Touch.
Finally, my efforts at writing fiction led me to a genre
in which I felt comfortable in what I've chosen to call
"Medical Suspense With Heart." Now I have three novels in
print with one more in the Prescription for Trouble
series to be released in the fall of 2011.
What's next? I have no idea, but I can hardly wait to
see what God has in store for me. I hope you'll stick
around to see the results.
